Best dress store in la. Definitely some 1 of a kind gowns and prices are a little on the higher side. Like I always say you get what you pay for and this is definitely quality at its best.

I live in Oregon and after going to several bridal shops in my hometown and having unbelievably frustrating and pushy experiences with salespeople, I decided to try shopping in L.A. Monique Lhuillier was the first place I went to, and it was like night and day. They were BEYOND warm, welcoming, and supportive. I worked with Kirsten there and she went ABOVE AND BEYOND in helping me. She gave me amazing advice and guidance and she picked the dress that I ended up going with, which she knew I would love just from our short amount of time working together. She even called me when I was having trouble with my alterations up in Portland to help me describe perfectly how to let the tailor know what to do. There was even a store locally that sold Monique and I wouldn't need to ship the dress, but I refused to use them because Kirsten was beyond amazing and I only wanted to work with her. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Monique Lhuillier to anyone looking for an amazing dress and dress shopping experience. My dress was beautiful, comfortable for lots of dancing, and I couldn't imagine getting married in any other dress. And Kirsten is amazing, and I think Monique is very lucky to have her!!

I recently traveled to LA to find my wedding dress, and couldn't have had a better experience at Monique Lhuillier. I worked with Hannah Bergman and she was absolutely incredible. She was so patient and sweet, as was all of the staff that I met, but Hannah couldn't have done a better job at helping me find the dress of my dreams. I would highly recommend Monique Lhuillier to any bride to be, and I would definitely recommend Hannah!

I have never written any online feedback for anything but I feel it is my duty to share my experience at Monique Lhuillier store.
I picked my dress last year (about a year ago). I was so excited. I ordered it when I was a little less than 3 months pregnant so it will be ready right on time for post baby.
When I went to my first fitting I had lost pretty much all my weight (I'm 5'6", 135lbs), so I was excited.
Of course it didn't fit perfectly (hence the 4 fitting complimentary that is included in the price of the dress). Some areas looked like there were not steamed and wrinkled. Some other areas had weird baggy seems.
Long story short, after 5 fittings I ended up with a dress that had bad seems. On the front it is not straight line and has a little dent looking seem. On the sides it has really huge bulky seems that creates baggy effect on the hip. And the lines that looked wrinkled were still there. That is after 5 fittings and many excuses as:
1. Did you loose weight again (me = no, not according to my scale
2. It must be your panties (Took them off and still had the same issue
3. It must be your spank (they had recommended me to get some). Took them off and issue was the same
4. Well we took of quite a bit so I can't trim the seems more than that.
5. It's as good as it's going to get.
Keep in mind. When I tried the dress 1 year ago I was 140lbs. I'm not 135lbs so all in all I have NOT loss that much weight. Just a little in the pooch.
My gut feeling is that the dress was poorly made (had issues with to begin with) and instead of flagging it right away and getting a new one done they just tried to "FIX" it and get me the "that's as good as it's going to get"
It wasn't the most expensive dress, 6,500$, but it wasn't the cheapest either.
